Kyle's daughters ended up having an open dialogue with her about sexuality.
“I am an open book, but I cannot speak to other people’s lives or experiences when they have not signed up to do this and don’t want to be a part of this. This is not the way I was raised. That’s not the way my mind even operated," Kyle continued about how she was feeling before she sat down with her girls. Kyle has been separated from husband,Mauricio Umansky,since 2023.

“There were stories out there about me and … this did make me wonder, you know, and question myself,” she explained.
“For me, to have their support—regardless of what happens in my life — means the world to me,” she said with a laugh.
“After we got past that difficult part of the conversation, the jokes that have ensued!”
