She joined the Virginia Gay wound care team in early 2025 and brings up-to-date training and a deep understanding of best practices in treating chronic wounds, ulcers and other skin complications. Brandi began her healthcare career as a CNA at Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehab (2004–2006) and has been part of the Virginia Gay Hospital team since 2009, delivering expert wound care with warmth and empathy.

Ivy graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015 with a BSN and earned her Certified Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification in 2021 through WebWOC.

The Tree of Lights is our major annual fundraising campaign and has been for over 33 years.
We are thrilled to celebrate Amanda Lovell, who has officially passed her NCLEX and is now a Registered Nurse (RN)! Funds raised from the Tree of Lights support the healthcare needs of the people who utilize the services of Virginia Gay Hospital and our clinics in Atkins, Van Horne, Vinton, and Urbana.
